Story summary

Green Lantern #8 – “The Secret of the Indigo Tribe, Part Two”: Hal Jordan and Sinestro find themselves trapped on the Indigo homeworld. There they are pursued by Indigo-1 and her tribe, while Hal discovers a statue revealing that Abin Sur is regarded as the savior and creator of the Indigo Lanterns. Sinestro breaks free from his captors and attacks the indigos, and Hal battles through the prison cell block with his ring’s limited power to reach the Indigo Lanterns (setting up why the tribe is so interested in Hal’s predecessor, Abin Sur)

Green Lantern Corps #8 – “Alpha-War, Part One”: The Green Lantern Corps faces the Guardians’ sinister new plan. In this issue, John Stewart is arrested by the Alpha Lanterns, initiating the “Alpha-War” storyline. The Corps has uncovered a secret crime by Stewart, and as the Alpha Lanterns take him into custody, John refuses to go quietly.

Green Lantern: New Guardians #8 – “Arkillo’s Might”: Betrayed by Sinestro, Arkillo returns to Korugar (Sinestro’s homeworld) only to find the Sinestro Corps destroyed. All members of the Sinestro Corps have been captured or killed and Sinestro’s yellow power battery is gone. With only the dwindling energy of his yellow ring, Arkillo fights his way across Korugar toward a desperate goal: the creation of a new kind of yellow power ring.

Red Lanterns #8 – “Death on Ysmault”: On the Red Lanterns’ home planet Ysmault, Jack Moore (Bleez’s Earth girlfriend and a new Red Lantern) finds himself in the middle of a bloody civil war between Atrocitus and Bleez. An infection is sweeping the Red Lantern Corps, and Jack is blamed for its spread. Amid this chaos, questions arise: who is bringing death to all on Ysmault, and how long before all Red Lanterns burn out in this conflict.
